29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. On or about February 1, 2024, Custom Pultrusion Inc. DBA Andersen Windows and Doors at 1331 South Chillicothe Road Aurora, OH 44202, did not ensure maintenance and other employees were protected from amputation hazards such as those created by the point of operation of the W. F. Wells and Sons Inc. Bandsaw (Model # L-9, Serial # L87) located in the Maintenance Shop. b. On or about February 1, 2024, Custom Pultrusion Inc. DBA Andersen Windows and Doors at 1331 South Chillicothe Road Aurora, OH 44202, did not ensure maintenance and other employees were protected from amputation hazards such as those created by the point of operation and ingoing nip points of the ShopBot CNC Machine located in the Maintenance Shop.
