29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations: a) Crown Creations Cabinetmakers Inc, Spray Booth: On or about February 1, 2024 and at times prior, employees were exposed to flash fire and subsequent fire hazards while spraying flammable products such as, but not limited to: GEMINI Ultra Lacquer Conv Coating Flat, and SHER-WOOD Hi-Bild Precat Lacquer in a spray booth that did not contain intrinsically safe overhead lighting. b) Crown Creations Cabinetmakers Inc, Spray Booth: On or about February 1, 2024 and at times prior, employees were exposed to flash fire and subsequent fire hazards while spraying flammable products such as, but not limited to: GEMINI Ultra Lacquer Conv Coating Flat, and SHER-WOOD Hi-Bild Precat Lacquer in a spray booth that did not contain intrinsically safe electrical receptacles.

The employer failed to develop, document, and utilize procedures to effectively control hazardous energy for employees that perform blade changes. b) Crown Creations Cabinetmakers, Inc: On or about February 1, 2024 and at times prior, employees were exposed to amputation hazards unexpected hazardous energy from electrical components while changing out the individual cutting blades on the FORMAT 4 Planer. The employer failed to develop, document, and utilize procedures to effectively control hazardous energy for employees that perform blade changes.
