29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i):Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve. a) Crown Creations Cabinetmakers, Inc, Spray Booth: On or about March 18th, 2024, and at times prior, employees are exposed to respiratory hazards while wearing tight fitting elastomeric respirators to apply chemicals including, but not limited to, GEMINI Ultra Lacquer Conv Coating Flat, and SHER-WOOD Hi-Bild Precat Lacquer. The employer failed to implement a program to ensure respirators were protected from contimaination and deformation while not in use.
