On or about February 5, 2024, and time prior, the employer failed to fully document its training that employees notify the employer of any damaged insulation material on battery charging cables. b) Battery cables on several batteries (battery 2210, 1023, 423). 29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(xi):The employer did not ensure that cable assemblies, flexible cords and cables were supported in place at intervals that ensured that they were protected from physical damage. Support shall be in the form of staples, cables ties, straps, or similar type fittings installed so as not to cause damage. a) Battery Charging Station area; 220 vac junction box. On or about February 5, 2024, and time prior, the employer exposed employees to electric shock hazards in that the electrical conductors and conduit were not installed in a way that prevented the insulated wires and the weight of the conduit to be supported in a manner that prevent damage from equipment or weight of the conductors.
