29 CFR 1926.757(d)(3)(ii):Hoisting cables shall not be released until all bridging is installed and anchored; and FORD ELITE SERVICE BAY - Fourteen 120-ft steel web trusses were released from hoisting cables of the crane before the installation and anchoring of the 6 reinforcing bracing bridges as specified in the approved engineering plans, exposing employees to struck-by and crush-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.757(e)(5): When construction loads were placed on steel joists, the employer did not ensure that the load was within 1 foot of the bearing surface of the joist end. FORD ELITE SERVICE BAY - Four bundles of metal roof decking weighing approximately 2,944 pounds were placed by Precision Steel Erectors in the center of at least 14 trusses and not within one foot of the joist and/or truss end, exposing Precision employees to struck-by and crush-by hazards. Agate was the controlling employer of the project.
