29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards:  a) 29 Vestry Rd, Swedesboro, NJ - Coolers 1,2,3,4 and 10 - The employer did not immediately isolate pertinent portions of the damaged racks. Employees working in close proximity, actively stocking, industrial steel racking systems with vertical supports damaged and out of plumb, column base plates damaged and with sheered or broken off anchor bolts on the base plates, thus exposing the employees to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards. The racking system is used to store merchandise such as produce in cold storage. This condition was observed on or about February 14, 2024.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
