29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(i): Footings were not level, sound, rigid, and capable of supporting the loaded scaffold without settling or displacement. a) On or about 02/21/2024, during a commercial construction project located at 308 Crowley Ave Buffalo, NY, a supported scaffold in use to apply exterior finish was not installed with an adequate firm foundation as required. Scaffold was sitting on damaged metal and wood extending from the building's aging foundation. Employees engaged in masonry work on a supported scaffold also did not have a firm foundation/footing due to a damaged/cracked mud sill. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
