This condition exposed employees to respiratory health hazards due to inadequate respirator fit.  (b)Wilmot Care Center, Inc. at 501 4th Street, Wilmot, SD 57279:  On or about and at times prior to February 22, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees caring for SARS-CoV-2 positive residents were protected from respiratory illnesses in that fit-testing was not performed annually for employees who were required to wear respirators.  This condition exposed employees to respiratory health hazards due to inadequate respirator fit.  The Wilmot Care Center, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.134(f)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1508494, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on June 14, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 501 4th Street, Wilmot, SD 57279.
