29 CFR 1926.501(b)(12): Each employee engaged in the erection of precast concrete members (including, but not limited to the erection of wall panels, columns, beams, and floor and roof "tees") and related operations such as grouting of precast concrete members, who is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about February 28, 2024, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18.4 feet on the west side of a commercial building while tasked with precast concrete slab erection, and grouting. The employer did not ensure to protect each employee engaged in the erection of precast concrete members and related operations were protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.
