29 CFR 1910.101(b):  The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6.  a) 194 Hempt Road Mechanicsburg PA 17050, Outer Building - On or about March 4, 2024, the employer was storing acetylene cylinders that were not secured from tipping over.    b) 194 Hempt Road Mechanicsburg PA 17050, Outer Building - On or about March 4, 2024, the employer was storing a mixed assortment of empty and full acetylene cylinders.  No abatement certification required.

29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace.  a) 194 Hempt Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 , Outer Building - On or about March 4, 2024, an employee was wearing a 3M 6800 Full Face Air Purifying Respirator during the powder coating process and was not medically evaluated prior to using the respirator.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
