29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(I):CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)[I]: Flexible cords and cables were not protected from damage: a) On or about 03/05/2024, during the construction of the new Quicklies, located on Chili Avenue in Rochester, New York, the employer did not enforce the use of safe work practices to ensure that power cords used for temporary power were free from damage. A power extension cord was placed along the construction site entrance where construction vehicles could drive over the cord damaging the cord jacket and exposing employees to electrical hazards. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
