29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: In the Raw Materials Area, employees engaged in cleaning activities were not provided with an eye wash station for flushing of the eyes and for immediate emergency use within a reasonable distance. Hazardous chemicals used onsite include but are not limited to Smokehouse Cleaner, which is corrosive, may cause oral acute toxicity, skin corrosion/irritation, and eye damage/irritation. Darling Ingredients, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1503787 citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 4413 Tanners Church Road in Ellenwood GA. 30294.
