This was most recently demonstrated on or about March 12, 2024, and at times prior to when small motor was used to power a Universal bucket elevator through a drive shaft. This was most recently demonstrated on or about March 12, 2024, and at times prior to when small motor was used to power a Universal bucket elevator through a drive shaft. The end of the horizontal drive shaft was not smooth and projected 1. 5 inches, which was more than one half the diameter of the shaft.

29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Air hose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment were not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected. At a worksite located at 1607 Anaconda Road, Harrisonville MO: The employer failed to protect employees from struck-by hazards. This was most recently demonstrated on or about March 12, 2024, and at times prior to when there were compressor air hoses that were used in part to supply air to pneumatic air lines for equipment and cleaning purposes. The air hoses connectors were attached to the hose fitting by a worm drive-type hose clamp which was not designed for use on an air hose. Clamps were associated with several airlines in the production areas of lines 6 and 7. The clamps could damage the line and cause them to break off and thereby expose employees to possible whipping action of the hose.
