29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a.) 38th Parallel - On or about February 3, 2024, and dates prior to, sanitation employees performed servicing and/or maintenance by cleaning the intermediate exhauster for system 2. However, the employer did not ensure periodic inspections of the energy control procedures were performed at least annually with authorized employees. b.) 38th Parallel - On or about February 27, 2024, and dates prior to, an electrician performed service and/or maintenance by locking out the electrical panel for the system 1 intermediate exhauster. However, the employer did not ensure periodic inspections of the energy control procedures were performed at least annually with authorized employees.
