29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Projecting shaft ends shall present a smooth edge and end and shall not project more than one-half the diameter of the shaft unless guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves. On or about April 24, 2024, at an establishment located at 200 Central Bridge Street in Wausau, Wisconsin, employees of Graphic Packaging International, Inc. were not provided adequate guarding to protect operators and other employees on the extruder from a projecting shaft end.
