29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a.) On or about March 25, 2023, at 270 Melbourne Avenue, Merritt Island, Florida, 32953: employees were exposed to 8 feet 9-inch fall hazards while conducting roofing activities on a 2/12 pitch roof, in that, fall protection was not used.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a.) On or about March 25, 2024, at 270 Melbourne Avenue, Merritt Island, FL, 32953: employees used a multi positioned ladder that was set approximately 30-inches above the roof landing to access the work area on the roof, thus exposing the employees to fall hazards of 8-feet 9-inches to the lower ground.
