Skil bench grinder in the molder and knife sharpening area 2. Dewalt miter saw in the molding department defecting area

29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9):The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: In the molder and knife sharpening area, employees engaged in fabrication, grinding, and sharping activities using the Skil bench grinder were exposed to struck by hazards in that the adjustable tongue guard opening was not maintained at a maximum of 1/4 inch. The opening from the abrasive wheel to the tongue guard was found to be 1 7/8 inch.
