29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: At the jobsite located at 811 South Queen Avenue Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in existing residential re-roofing activities on a 6x12 pitch roof with the use of a pneumatic nail guns were exposed to struck-by hazards in that employees were not utilizing eye protection. The J&K Roofing and Siding Company, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1444898, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02-11-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2254 N. Sandplum Ct. in Wichita, Kansas.

The J&K Roofing and Siding Company, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1444898, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 02-11-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2254 N.
