29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report within 24-hours a work-related incident resulting in in-patient hospitalization, amputation or the loss of an eye: On or about March 18, 2024, at this establishment, an employee in the process of picking up empty lunch trays and handing out laundry to detainees suffered a crushing hand injury which resulted in an in-patient hospitalization. The employer did not notify OSHA of the in-patient hospitalization within the 24-hour required time period.
