The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.  a) On or about April 2, 2024, an employee cutting turnips using the SABITECH French fry cutter (food processor) was exposed to a caught-between hazard from the pneumatic ram/pusher block and multiple blades at the point of operation; the employer did not ensure that the SABITECH French fry cutter was designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of the body in the caught-in hazard during the operating cycle.
