29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) On or about 04/10/2024, at the roof top of Acro Industries located on 1255 Emerson Street, in Rochester, New York, the employer did not enforce the use of fall protection during the roof restoration process of an existing roof. Employees were observed working approximately 20 feet above ground level and working outside of the warning lines without fall protection and exposed to an unprotected roof edge. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED The Weathertight Installation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1653037, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/04/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4152 West Main Street, in Batavia, New York.
