29 CFR  1910.178(k)(1): The brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks.   a) On or about April 2, 2024, employer did not ensure that the wheel chocks were placed under the rear wheels of a semi-truck(approximately 20ft trailer) to prevent the truck from rolling away while a Raymond forklift ( SN# DSS-06-06510) and it's operator attempted to board the back of the truck at bay dock door 1. The truck rolled away from the dock while the operator was entering the truck as they were loading a pallet, exposing the operator to an approximately 3ft 11.5in fall from the dock.
