29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a- Building 2, Mount Laurel NJ: A worker were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 33 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at and near the unprotected edges of a commercial structure's 4rth floor balcony while wearing a harness that was not connected to an anchor with a lanyard or other approved means. Condition observed on or about 04/16/24. Vasquez Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1614812, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/17/22, with respect to a workplace located at 174 Woodmont Circle, Rivervale NJ. Vasquez Construction, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1537508, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/07/21, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 21E Crescent & Roxbory Road, Mahwah NJ.
