29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1):When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be used. Cross braces shall not be used as a means of access. On or about April 17, 2024 or time prior to employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than two feet while accessing and egressing a tube frame scaffolding platform without sufficient means. Madrid Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1502345, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/13/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1001 3rd St Bldgs. 100, Lubbock, TX 79401 Madrid Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1410075, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1/27/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 13th St. Lubbock, TX 79401.
