Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A) Division Seven Contracting, Inc. - 2795 Richmond Ave., Staten Island, NY 10314 - 2 employees working near a roof edge without a fall protection system were exposed to fall hazards of approx. 30' to 35' Condition noted on or about April 19, 2024.

29 CFR 1926.502(d)(8):Horizontal lifelines shall be designed, installed, and used, under the supervision of a qualified person, as part of a complete personal fall arrest system, which maintains a safety factor of at least two. A) Division Seven Contracting, Inc. - 2795 Richmond Ave., Staten Island, NY 10314 - Lifelines were not used during roof repair activities to protect employees from fall hazards. This condition exposed employee to falls of approx. 30' to 35". Condition noted on April 19, 2024.
