No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1926.850(g): Wall openings in a structure being demolished were not protected to a height of approximately 42 inches: a) On April 22, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing demolition work in an area where a wall previously existed were exposed to a fall from a wall hole opening of approximately 13.5 feet above the surface below. The employees were not provided with a protective railing, wall, or secured to personal fall arrest systems or other means of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
