29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about May 1, 2024, at a jobsite located at 523 71st St., KENOSHA, WI 53142, employees conducting roofing activities (shingle installation) on a 6:12 pitch roof of the main house structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet 6 inches on the East side of the structure. (b) On or about May 1, 2024, at a jobsite located at 523 71st St., KENOSHA, WI 53142, employees conducting roofing activities (shingle installation) on a 6:12 pitch roof of the detached garage structure were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 7 feet 6 inches on the West side of the structure at the eave and 12 feet 4 inches at the ridge of the roof. RBD Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1582842, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 19, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1307 Fleet Food Drive Waukesha, WI. 53186.
