29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a. On or about May 10, 2024, in the freezer, the employer did not ensure all exits routes were maintained to allow employees free and unobstructed access to exits. There were three exit doors blocked with pallets and boxes, thereby exposing employees to fire and smoke hazards. Conexus Food Solutions LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1724595, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 12, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 6500 W. 51st Street in Chicago, IL 60638.
