29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 117 S. 13th Ave., Longport, NJ: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately twenty five feet to the ground below. Two employees were walking on the crest of a 12/12 pitch roof without fall protection. Observed on or about 5/17/24 Siding Solutions and Home Improvements, LLC; WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILAR STANDARD,1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1666135 CITATION NUMBER 1 , ITEM NUMBER 1, ISSUED ON 09/08/23. NOTE: FINAL ORDER DATE 10/03/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
