29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest systems: Location: Valley View Park Apartment, 44 Dorchester Lane, East Hanover, NJ Employees were installing roofing on a residential building at a height of approximately 30 feet without any means of fall protection. Violation observed on 05/17/2024 OSHA previously issued a citation alleging a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1769546, inspection date 04/05/2024, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/20/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 334 Washington Avenue, Sayreville, NJ 08872; and OSHA previously issued a citation alleging a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1724532, inspection date 01/31/2024, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/212024, with respect to a workplace located at 29 Billings St, West Roxbury, MA 02132 .
