29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6):The employer used written materials, such as signs, placards, process sheets, or batch tickets in lieu of affixing labels to individual stationary process containers which were not readily accessible to the employees in their work area throughout their work shift: The employer was failing to protect employees from chemical hazards in that containers of hazardous chemicals were not labeled including but not limited to spray bottles of 'Acid Eater'. This was most recently documented on or about May 21, 2024 at the United States Cold Storage facility located at 4302 South 30th Street, Omaha, Nebraska. The employer had an unlabeled spray bottle containing 'Acid Eater' in the small forklift battery charging bay.
