29 CFR 1910.147(e)(2)(i):The work area shall be checked to ensure that all employees have been safely positioned or removed. On or about May 21, 2024, at the Whitaker pit jobsite, employees were removing debris from the conveyor belt of a Roller Bearing Roll Crusher machine when the area was not checked and employees were not safely positioned or removed as energy was restored.
