29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor were the employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): a) On May 31, 2024, employees engaged in roofing work to the main roof of the structure were not protected from fall hazards of approximately 18.5 feet b) On May 31, 2024, employees engaged in roofing work to the lower roof above the garage and front door were not protected from fall hazards of approximately 9.1 feet. Reliable Roofing & Remodeling, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1489630, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 29, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 13 Larkspur Lane, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item
