29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: (a) On or before 6/1/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from eye injury in that employees were installing shingles on the roof of a new multifamily building without wearing safety glasses. Employees were using pneumatic nail guns and other roofing tools. This condition exposed employees to eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or before 6/1/2024, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards. Not all of the employees on the roof of a new multifamily building were tied off. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 20 feet. Crisolito Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1722231, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/25/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 9239 Uravan Ct. Commerce City, CO 80022.
