29 CFR 1910.335(a)(2)(ii): Protective shields, protective barriers, or insulating materials were not used to protect each employee from shock, burns, or other electrically related injuries while that employee was working near exposed energized parts which might be accidentally contacted: a) Wire EDM Machines, Bennett Tool & Die, 130 Wygant Road, Horseheads, NY 14845, on or about 6/5/2024; An employee was operating the Mitsubishi MV1200 Wire EDM Machine, Model W-41MV-MC, without the protective barrier in place to protect employees from accidental contact with the energized wire. Abatement certification is required.
