29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. On or about June 10, 2024, five employees engaged in roofing activities to include installing rolled rubber roofing and other roofing materials on a low-slope roof with unprotected sides and edges as much as 17' above lower levels, were not protected from falling by any acceptable means. City Professional Restoration, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1659405, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 7-20-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1785 S Eastwood Dr., Woodstock, IL 60098.
