29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure that meets a provision described in paragraph (b): a) Roof: On or about June 10, 2024, the employer exposed employees to a fall hazard, in that employees did not use fall protection when roofing at heights up to 20 feet above ground level. Roman Ortega was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635618, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 66 Saussy Road, Port Wentworth, GA.
