29 CFR  1910.106(d)(2)(i):Approved container(s) or portable tank(s) were not used for the storage of flammable or combustible liquids:  (a) At the Aladdin Packaging maintenance shop, flammable liquids Blend 80/20 (80% Propyl Alcohol and 20%Propyl Acetate)  and Blend 85/15  (85% Propyl Alcohol  and 15% Propyl Acetate)  were stored in unapproved flammable liquid  containers. On or about 6/14/24.  Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:  At Aladdin Packaging,  employees handle  and are exposed to flammable chemicals such as Blend 80/20 and Blend 85/15 . Employees did not receive training concerning the specific hazards of the chemicals in their workplace and how to store flammable liquids in sealed approved containers..  On or about 6/14/24.  Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical.  At Aladdin Packaging, plastic spray bottles of flammable liquids were not labeled, tagged or marked identifying the chemical ingredients and appropriate hazard warning.  On or about 6/14/24.  Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
