29 CFR  1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed:  a.)  York-Seaway Industrial Products, Inc. - On or about 7/8/24, and at time prior thereto, employees were performing servicing, maintenance and repairs on equipment, including, but not limited to, CNC's and Parts Washers.  The company had not performed an annual, periodic inspection of the lockout/tagout procedures.  The last periodic inspection had  been performed in 2019.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

York-Seaway Industrial Products, Inc. - On or about 7/8/24, and at times prior thereto, the automatic parts washers did  not have interlocks  or other mechanisms to prevent  the door being opened while the parts washer was in operation.  b.)  York-Seaway Industrial Products, Inc. - On or about 7/8/24/, and at times prior thereto, several CNC lathes did not have an interlock or other mechanism to prevent the CNC door from being opened while in operation.  Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).
