1910.212(a)(2):  Machine guard(s) on machine(s) were so installed that they offered accident hazards in themselves:  a. On or about June 13, 2024, in the Weld Shop, employees were required to operate the Betenbender Hydraulic Shear, Model #12-1/4, Serial#271021 on a daily basis. The guarding device for this machine, Betenbender Hydraulic Shear, created a hazard in that it did not hold down the material during the cutting process.  Employees were thereby exposed to pinch point and amputation hazards.
