29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  (a) On or about July 9, 2024, at a jobsite located at 9710 S Bluegrass Place, Oak Creek, WI 53154, employees conducting roofing activities on a roof with an 8:12 pitch were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet on the North side of the home and 21 feet on the south side of the home.  Isabel Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1733888, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/21/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1029 Harrison St., Hartford, WI 53027.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.  (a) On or about July 9, 2024, at a jobsite located at 9710 S Bluegrass Place, Oak Creek, WI 53154, the ladder employees used to access the roof of the residential building, did not extend three feet above the landing surface, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet.
