29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(1):  Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use.   At a job site located near 1901 Hightown Dr Lee's Summit, MO; Employees were exposed to, but not limited to, respiratory and skin contact hazards associated with the use of a subfloor adhesive.  Employees use the subfloor adhesive when conducting framing work.  The employer did not maintain safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical.

29 CFR  1926.1051(a):Stairway(s) or ladder(s) were not provided at all personnel points of access where there was a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, or no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist was provided:  At a job site located near 1901 Hightown Dr Lee's Summit, MO; an employee was exposed to fall hazards when accessing the roof area of the structure.  The employee was not provided a ladder to access the roof and the employee climbed the framing work to access the area.

The employee was not protected from stuck-by hazards from possible flying debris.    Smart Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1734508, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 06-20-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 17739 Shady Bend Rd. Lot 28, Gardner, KS 66030.   Smart Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1731998, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 06-20-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 17739 - 17751 Shady Bend Rd. Lot 29 Gardner, KS 66030.
