29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling REFRIGERATOR ROOM: On July 16, 2024, and at times prior to, an extension cord was connected in series to a relocatable power tap to power a refrigerator, exposing employees to fire hazards. Wetherill Inn Monument Valley was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1502488, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/03/2021.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v): a) LAUNDRY: On July 16, 2024, and at times prior to, a spray bottle of ECOLAB Multi Surface Disinfectant was not appropriately labeled to warn employees of the contents and hazardous nature of the contents. b) UPSTAIRS STORAGE: On July 16, 2024, and at times prior to, a spray bottle of ECOLAB Peroxide Cleaner and Disinfectant was not appropriately labeled to warn employees of the contents and hazardous nature of the contents. c) PUMP HOUSE: On July 16, 2024, and at times prior to, a spray bottle of PROCLEAN Acid Bathroom Cleaner and one of ECOLAB Peroxide Cleaner was not appropriately labeled to warn employees of the contents and hazardous nature of the contents.
