29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:   (a)	On or about July 17, 2024 - Facility, employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-in hazards when the employer did not develop, document, and utilize machine specific lockout/tagout procedures for equipment that was not cord and plug such as, but not limited to, the biscuit cutter and for equipment such as, but not limited to, the bag sealer and 'doughboy' with multiple energy sources including electricity, pneumatic air, and heat when employees were clearing a jam and performing clean-up and sanitation at the equipment.  Dean Sausage Company, Incorporated was previously cited for a Serious violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1641623, citation number 2, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on 06/08/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 3750 Pleasant Valley Road, Attalla, AL 35954.
