29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(i): The load was not well secured and properly balanced in the sling or lifting device before it was lifted more than a few inches: a) Shop - On or about July 10, 2024, an employee used a clamp (Merrill Bros) to lift and move a sheet of steel using an overhead crane (P&H 10 Ton Crane - Asset # NES367117). The sheet of steel was lifted approximately 12 inches in height off the floor and was not properly secured to the clamp exposing the employee to struck by hazards.
