29 CFR  1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:  On and/or before July 24, 2024, multiple electrical equipment such as extension cords and laptops were plugged into relocatable power taps and/or daisy chained in which were not used according to listing and labeling instructions. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to electrical shock and/or fire hazards. In the following locations:  a) Building 25021, Automotive shop, bay three, a black extension cord was plugged into a Tripp-Lite relocatable power tap which provided power to Logitech speaker system.  b) Building 25021, Automotive shop, south wing, a black laptop was plugged into a white relocatable power tap, which was plugged into a power strip, and also provided power to a Milwaukee radio/speaker. This electrical equipment was daisy chained and plugged into a retractable extension cord. c) Building 25011, Warehouse, A portable Evaporative Cooler model PAC2K363S was not used in accordance with listing and labeling instructions, it was connected to a black extension cord and not GFCI rated.

29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6:  Building 25011, Warehouse: On and/or before July 24th, 2024, four empty oxygen cylinders were unsecured and stored horizontally on top of a pallet for a period of 3 months and not secured to prevent falling. Employee(s) were potentially exposed to struck-by-hazard(s).  Camp Roberts Mates was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1579170, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 08, 2022 with respect to a workplace located at Bldg. 25021 East Garrison SAN MIGUEL, CA 93451.
