29 CFR  1926.652(b)(2): Maximum allowable slopes, and allowable configurations for sloping and benching systems, was not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in Appendices A and B to this subpart.   a) On or about July 30, 2024; employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while installing sewer line in a trench, with Type B soil, that was approximately 7-foot deep. The trench was 3-feet wide at the bottom and measured 4-feet high before sloping. The width at the top, after sloping, measured approximately 7-feet wide.    (Note) Abatement certification of corrective action is required for this item.
