29 CFR  1910.23(b)(6): The employer did not ensure that metal ladders are made with corrosion-resistant material or protected against corrosion.  a) On or about August 7, 2024, at a worksite located at 5900 MacArthur Blvd NW, Basin area #4, The metal fixed ladders used to access the lower levels of the basin are rusted, which weakens the structure of both the ladder and the anchor points that secure it to the concrete vertical wall. This condition exposes employees to an estimated fall hazard of 20 feet while using the ladders.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet). In addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
