29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). (a) On or about August 12, 2024, at 10402 S Rosemont Lane, Oak Creek, WI 53154, subcontractor employees installing a roof on a residential home with an approximately 10:12 pitch roof were not using fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet 8 inches from the roof eve to the ground below on the back (East) side of the home. The controlling employer, Cornerstone Roofing Inc, did not ensure that the subcontractor employees were wearing fall protection.
