29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with the manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators. Location - Job site: On or about 8/15/24, an employee was exposed to fall hazards to a lower level while using a shingle hoist as a ladder. Universal Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.552(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1429070, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/05/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 24 Temple Place, Framingham, MA.
